Do you know about the Writers’ Center of Indiana? If not, you should. It is an amazing community resource that supports writers and the writing community in Indianapolis. They offer programs taught by published writers – and they offer a little of everything – poetry, fiction, memoir, nonfiction, and more! The Writers’ Center of Indiana also works with schools, universities, social service providers and more to invigorate the community with supportive outlets for creativity.

Other exciting facets of this great organization is their annual Gathering of Writers and Readers which brings several Indiana writers together in a day-long event. The Writers’ Center also promotes Indiana work, provides information about writing, forges connections between local writers, and offers advice about the trade.
